Ginger

Meet Ginger, a charming 9-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love to give! Despite her age, Ginger is bursting with life and knows how to have a good time. She adores children, delights in rolling in the grass, enjoys snuggling up on the bed at night, and isn't shy about giving a sweet kiss. Ginger was the devoted companion of an elderly gentleman until he passed away. To ensure she wouldn't be put down, she was brought into foster care, and now she's looking for her forever home. She's fully house-trained, intelligent, motivated by food, and eager to please, though she can be a little stubborn at times – a testament to her previously pampered life. Ginger seems to do well with a male dog, but it's best if she's the only female pet in the household.

Ideal Home

Ginger would thrive in a quiet home, perhaps with retired individuals, homeschoolers, or those who work from home. A country setting with plenty of love and cuddles would be her paradise. She should not be around cats or free-range poultry.

Ongoing Health

Ginger is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and has no known health issues. She has always been well cared for.

Training & Support

We're working with Ginger on patience and yielding, as she was a very spoiled girl. Her new family should be prepared to continue this training.
