Chief

Sweet Chief is a little shy as he has spent most of his life in the shelter. He is great with other dogs and is looking for a family that will work with any fears he may have in the big outside world. He came in with his two sisters and they were all suffering from distemper. Chief was successfully treated and he does not have any residual effects from the illness. He has the most beautiful, very short fur that is like velvet and is very different from normal dog fur. We think he could have some Shar Pei in him due to his coat. Chief is food motivated, which will help immensely when gaining confidence in the outside world. He loves to swim and play with his kennel mates.

Chief is looking for a family that will work with any fears he may have in the big outside world. He is great with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Chief was successfully treated for distemper and has no residual effects from the illness. He is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered.

Training & Support

Chief is food motivated, which will help immensely when gaining confidence in the outside world.

Transportation

Chief is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Once adopted, he can be flown to his forever home (nearest airport) with a volunteer flight angel.
