Meet Evie, a 2-year-old Pyr with a heart of gold who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help her blossom. Evie is a bit shy and unsure of new things, but with time and a gentle hand, her sweet and loving personality will surely shine through. She's hoping for a home where she can relax and feel safe as she learns to trust.

Ideal Home

Evie would thrive in a quiet home with a confident, chill dog companion who can help her gain confidence. She would do best with older children who are respectful of her need for space, but young children are not a good fit for her. She seems to get along well with cats and would love a securely fenced yard. While she walks nicely on a leash, a fenced yard is preferred unless you live in a very quiet neighborhood.

Ongoing Health

Evie is seemingly housetrained and has no known health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Evie is a sensitive soul who needs time and patience to decompress and adjust to her new surroundings. Building trust will be key to her success.
