CJ is a handsome 20-month-old Staffordshire/Red Nose Pit Bull mix who is neutered and ready for his forever home! He's a highly intelligent and capable dog who thrives with clear structure and consistent leadership. CJ is loyal, focused, and forms strong bonds with his person. He initially came to his current trainer for a board and train program but was unable to return to his previous home due to complex multi-dog household dynamics and littermate syndrome. Given these circumstances, his owners surrendered him to his trainer, who has been committed to his well-being and has done everything possible to set him up for success.

Ideal Home

CJ would do best as the only pet in the home. He is not suitable for placement with other dogs and would also be best in a home without young children, where his environment can remain calm, predictable, and low-stress.

CJ is neutered.

CJ has made meaningful progress through training and responds well to guidance, but he will require a knowledgeable handler or adopter who understands structure, boundaries, and continued reinforcement. His trainer is committed to providing detailed behavioral notes, training history, and ongoing guidance to ensure CJ is set up for long-term success.
