Lilly is a delightful Mountain Feist spayed female with a heart full of love to give. She can be a little shy at first, but her sweet nature shines through once she realizes you're a friend. Lilly spent some time living behind a mechanic's shop, where she and her pups were kindly fed by the workers. After a couple of years in rescue, she's blossomed beautifully and has learned to trust people completely. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is butt scratches! She'll happily back up to you, wiggling with anticipation, asking for her favorite kind of attention. Lilly gets along well with other dogs, but as a mature lady, she'd prefer companions who are medium to low energy, just like her.
Ideal Home
Lilly would thrive in a calm and gentle environment. She's looking for a household with a mid to low energy level, where she can be a devoted couch potato. She would likely do wonderfully with senior owners who appreciate a quiet companion. A mature or senior dog friend to share her days with would be the icing on the cake!
Ongoing Health
Lilly is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is kept up-to-date on Simparica Trio for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She will receive a vet exam, a negative fecal test, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Lilly is already very well potty trained and is considered a rescue favorite due to her gentle and easy-going nature. She's even gentle enough for visiting children to walk on leash.
