CHICKEN NUGGET

Meet Nugget, our adorable little man whose full name is Chicken Nugget! He's so cute you'll just want to gobble him up and smother him with kisses. Nugget is estimated to be around 2-3 years old and weighs about 15 lbs, maybe a little less. He's tall and lanky with impressively long legs and a wonderfully dome-shaped head that reminds us of an apple-headed Chihuahua. We think he's a charming mix, possibly with some Pomeranian or Rat Terrier in his lineage.

Ideal Home

Nugget would be a fantastic companion for another dog and enjoys playing with his canine friends in his current foster home. He's also a good candidate for apartment or city living as he's not an excessive barker and is comfortable being left alone for several hours. His foster family believes he would be absolutely fine with children given his sweet disposition. He has also shown no interest in stray cats in the yard, preferring to play with them if given the chance.

Ongoing Health

Nugget is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nugget is a lively and happy boy who enjoys his walks. He has medium to high energy when playing but also cherishes his cuddle and chill time. He really loves his squeaky toys!

Transportation

Nugget is currently in Puerto Rico but will fly to his forever home once adopted. We can easily arrange in-cabin transport with a flight volunteer to many airports along the East Coast, including JFK, EWR, PHL, TPA, BWI, DCA, IAD, and more!
