Nicky

Nicky is a sweet, approximately 9-year-old, 55-pound boy who is a true velcro dog! He absolutely adores people and is happiest when he's snuggled up next to his favorite humans. Nicky is not a high-energy dog; he's perfectly content to relax and lounge around at home. He's already a pro at leash walking, crate training, and is reliably house and potty trained. Nicky gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages. He enjoys his walks and loves to explore all the interesting smells in the yard. Nicky does have some arthritis in his back knees, which causes him to limp occasionally, but it doesn't slow him down much! He also has a "wonky" eye that the vet suspects is due to dry eye and past neglect. While it doesn't seem to bother him, it's believed he doesn't have vision in that eye.

Ideal Home

Nicky would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.

Ongoing Health

Nicky has arthritis in his back knees, which may require ongoing management. He also has a "wonky" eye that the vet believes is due to dry eye and past neglect. It's thought that he cannot see out of this eye, but it does not appear to cause him discomfort. Nicky has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated with Nexgard Spectra.

Training & Support

Nicky is already house-trained, potty-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, making him a wonderful companion for his new family.
