Negrita

Negrita is a confident and curious pup who is loyal to her pack, both human and canine. She loves belly rubs and will happily roll over for a good scratch. Negrita is super sweet and enjoys cuddling with her humans, and she lets her doggie siblings sleep all over her. She rarely barks and enjoys playing with her siblings, though she can be a bit shy around new dogs. Negrita is very food motivated and trains well with treats. She understands a stern voice and quickly stops unwanted behaviors. She knows "sit" and "gentle" in both English and Spanish. Negrita can hold her bladder all night and tries to go to the bathroom away from her sleeping area. She prefers to do her business in bushes or away from human scent. While she doesn't yet understand leashes, she responds well to a whistle. Negrita has not chewed on household items. She is a bit unsure of cats and doesn't attack them, but she does seem distrustful.

Ideal Home

A home that can provide a consistent routine will help Negrita thrive. She is still a bit shy around new dogs and would benefit from a patient introduction to any resident canines. She is also unsure of cats.

Negrita is a healthy puppy.

Training & Support

Negrita responds well to positive reinforcement and a firm voice. She already knows "sit" and "gentle" in English and Spanish. She is still learning to walk on a leash.
