Wilbur

Hi there! My name is Wilbur, and I'm a very large, handsome German Shepherd boy. I was found near the county fairgrounds, and after some time to decompress, I'm really starting to shine! I walk beautifully on a leash, and I don't pull at all. I'm also super treat-motivated, which makes training a blast. I already know "sit" and "paw"! I'm still figuring out how I feel about the other dogs here as I adjust to my new surroundings, but I'm getting more comfortable every single day.

Ideal Home

Wilbur is still getting acquainted with other dogs, so he'd likely do best in a home where he can be the star of the show, or with very slow introductions to canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Wilbur is up-to-date on his DHPP and Bordetella vaccines and is microchipped. He is also scheduled to be spayed or neutered, with the cost covered by the shelter.

Training & Support

Wilbur is treat-motivated and already knows "sit" and "paw"! He's a smart boy who will likely pick up new commands quickly.
