Meet Jo, a charming boy who's about 40 lbs of pure personality with adorable short legs! This grown adult is estimated to be 4-5 years old and is ready to be your loyal companion. Jo is a social butterfly with other dogs and has a wonderfully playful spirit. He absolutely loves car rides and cherishing quality time with his favorite humans. Jo is a smart cookie, motivated by treats, and enjoys a good bully stick or a peanut butter Kong to keep him happily occupied in his crate.

Ideal Home

Jo is a great companion for those who enjoy his playful nature and cozy companionship. While Jo is good with other dogs, he has recently shown some uncertainty around certain men. He would thrive with a patient and understanding person (or family) who is willing to earn his trust with plenty of positive reinforcement and tasty treats.

Ongoing Health

Jo has been neutered, is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and treated for heartworms.

Training & Support

Jo walks well on a leash, though he can pull a bit. He's currently using a martingale training collar to help him with this. His strong motivation by treats makes training a joy, and he's a fan of bully sticks and peanut butter Kongs for crate time.
