Reed

Reed is a handsome 72-pound boy with a heart full of hope for a brighter future. He and his ex-partner Penny endured unimaginable hardship, escaping a home riddled with fleas and mold where they were neglected and exploited. Despite their past, Reed is a resilient soul who loves all humans and enjoys activities like hiking and car rides. He lived with kids and seems to be a sweet dog who is ready for a loving home.

Ideal Home

Reed would be a wonderful companion as an only dog, or potentially with a female canine friend after some adjustment. He cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

Reed has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He has also been tested and treated for heartworm and Lyme disease, and is on monthly preventatives. He has received treatment for intestinal parasites.

Training & Support

While Reed is generally a sweet dog, he may benefit from some guidance to adjust to a new home environment.
