Marla

Marla is a very sweet gal, a 6-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who is fully grown at 12 lbs! She is used to having someone home all the time, which has made her a wonderful companion. Marla is housebroken, playful, and to our surprise, she even loves to swim!

Ideal Home

Marla would do best in a home where she can have a consistent companion, as she is used to someone being home often. While she is okay with cats and will chase them for fun, she will back off if corrected. She can be okay with other dogs, but she has some food guarding issues. This means she would need to be fed completely separately from other dogs or be the only dog in the home.

Marla is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Marla has some food guarding tendencies, so it’s important to manage her feeding to ensure she is fed separately from other pets or that she is the only pet in the home.
