Bucee Boo is a 2-3 year old, 57lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He's a chill, confident, smart, and happy boy looking for his forever home. Bucee loves to greet new people and dogs with joyful barks. As with most rescue dogs, he needs a little time to adjust to a new environment. He gets along well with most female dogs and many male dogs. Bucee is energetic, with medium to high energy levels, but he's easily trainable and calms down nicely indoors. He truly needs a backyard for running and playing with chew toys. An active adopter would be ideal to help him expend his energy and prevent boredom. His foster mom crates him at night, and he sleeps soundly in it. Bucee loves having access to chewing and mentally stimulating toys at all times. Bucee Boo was found abandoned in Houston. His foster family believes he was previously owned and then dropped off in a common dumping area before his rescue.
Ideal Home
Bucee needs a home with an active person or family who can help him expend his energy. A backyard with plenty of space to run and chew toys is a must for him.

Training & Support
Bucee is kennel and potty trained. He is easily trainable and calms down indoors. He loves having access to chewing and mentally stimulating toys. Adopters are eligible for discounts on training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Bucee is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may go to a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook groups are also available for tracking information.
