Waffles McGee is a squishy-faced, big-hearted boy who has been through more than we'll probably ever fully know. But here's what we do know: Waffles McGee still believes in people. He greets you with a soft wag, walks nicely on leash, and just wants to be close. He's got that goofy, lovable personality that makes you smile, with a little bounce in his step and a whole lot of love to give. Waffles McGee is healing—inside and out—and he's looking for someone who will see past his rough start and into the incredible dog he's becoming. This handsome boy is approximately 1 year and 7 months old, male, neutered, a Staffordshire Mix, and weighs around 55 lbs.

Ideal Home

Waffles McGee would thrive with a confident, patient owner who can give him structure, love, and a little time to decompress. He would do best with someone who understands strong, loyal breeds and is ready for a true companion. Older kids are recommended.

Waffles McGee is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP), and microchipped. He is currently heartworm positive, but this is being addressed, and the adopter will be guided through the treatment process.

Training & Support

Waffles McGee walks nicely on leash. His house-training status is unknown, but he would likely do well with a routine. It is likely he would be comfortable in a crate. He is selective with other dogs and needs a proper introduction. His compatibility with cats is unknown.
