Meet Oreo!

This sweet 7-year-old lady is a true survivor, having been rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston. We don't know her past, but it's clear she was loved, as she's super healthy and well-trained. After a close call with euthanasia, a kind foster stepped up, giving Oreo a second chance at life. Now, she's ready to find her forever family!

Oreo is the ultimate co-pilot, loving car rides and adventures. She's potty-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a wonderful balance of playful and chill. She enjoys zoomies in the yard but is equally happy lounging with her favorite people. Her gentle and loving nature truly shines, especially when she’s looking for belly rubs!

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a variety of homes. She gets along well with dogs and cats in her foster home, but she prefers calm companions and isn't a fan of overly energetic dogs. Her ideal evening involves a relaxed walk followed by curling up on the couch for quality downtime with her person.

Ongoing Health

Oreo is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on prevention, and heartworm negative. She is a healthy, middle-aged lady.

Oreo is well-trained and potty-trained. She walks beautifully on a leash.

Transporation

Oreo is being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption in many locations across the country. The adoption fee of $600 includes transport.
