Collin

Collin arrived at our shelter with a story etched in his bones. He weighed a mere 26 pounds, his ribs showing a testament to a difficult past. Despite his hardship, Collin's spirit remained unbroken. He greeted everyone with gentle eyes and a hopeful tail wag, never losing faith that he would find love.

Today, Collin is a transformed dog. Thanks to proper nutrition, safety, and care, he's gained 16 pounds and now stands at a healthy 42 pounds. His coat is glossier, his energy is vibrant, and his loving personality shines brighter than ever. Collin is a happy, affectionate shadow dog who thrives on companionship, making him the perfect best friend. He cohabitates wonderfully with multiple dogs of various genders and also gets along famously with cats. He's diligently learning good house manners and is already leash trained, crate trained, and appears to be housebroken. Despite his past struggles, Collin's capacity for love has only grown, making him even sweeter. Now, he's ready for the final, most important chapter of his story: a forever home where he'll never have to worry about his next meal, where he can share a comfy couch, and follow his favorite person from room to room. Collin has already overcome the hardest part of his life; now, he deserves to live the best part.

Ideal Home

Collin would do best in a home where he can be a beloved companion, following his people around and receiving plenty of affection. He is good with dogs, cats, and children aged 10 and up.

Collin is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Collin is leash trained, crate trained, and appears to be housebroken.
