Josie Ella isn't your typical rescue dog, and that's exactly why someone out there is going to fall for her, hard. She's a peace-bringer with a stunning face and a gentle soul that makes life feel calmer just by being there. Josie is a slow bloomer; she's quiet, observant, and guarded, but has made incredible progress. She's believed to be a pittie mix, approximately 3.5 years old, and weighs about 60 lbs. While she's not yet a "cuddly" dog, she tolerates affection calmly and enjoys cuddling on your legs. You adopt a dog like Josie because you believe in the quiet magic of trust being earned and find meaning in routine, gentle coexistence, and "small wins" like a relaxed body or a soft glance. Her key to her heart is food; she's highly motivated and takes treats gently.
Ideal Home
Josie is a "dog's dog" and thrives in the company of other dogs. A home with at least one other dog is non-negotiable as they are essential to her confidence. She is excellent with feline friends, completely ignoring them.
Ongoing Health
Josie is healthy.
Training & Support
Josie is a rescue, and as with any rescue, there's always a mystery. We cannot guarantee breed or age. She is generally well-behaved and has been crate trained, potty trained, and leash walked by her foster. She won't initiate play until she trusts, then it's game on.
