Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present for dog adoptions, especially those under 18 and any primary decision-makers.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet-and-greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential new sibling. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s) is required. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended, and we advise allowing time for decompression for any new shelter dog.

Transporation

Edwina is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Visitors are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis between 12pm and 7pm daily. If you plan to adopt on the day of your visit, please arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm can still view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
