Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome adventurer, approximately 1.5 years old and weighing 57 lbs. He's a smart, social, and people-loving dog who thrives on activity and engagement. Ideal Home
Tahoe would thrive in a home that provides him with plenty of opportunities for physical activity and mental stimulation. He is a dog who wants to be involved in your life and is not content to be left alone for long periods. He should not live with cats. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be over 25 lbs. to ensure they can handle Tahoe's playful energy.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is up-to-date on all his vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments and flea prevention. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Tahoe is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be a little enthusiastic in his greetings and may gently jump up to say hello, but this is driven by excitement and affection. His foster family reports that he responds well to guidance and corrections and is a very workable dog. Continued training will help him thrive and is likely to be genuinely fun for him. He responds well to leash corrections, checks back in with handlers after redirection, and recovers quickly from overstimulation. Consistency and structure will go a long way with this intelligent and eager learner.

Tahoe is currently fostered in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. You can track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
