Meet Zeke! This handsome 2-to-4-year-old Heeler mix, originally from Kentucky, is ready to embrace all the joy life has to offer. Zeke had a tough start, facing bullying from other dogs and living in a barn, but now he's in New York, discovering the wonderful world of just being a dog – and he's a natural! Weighing in at under 40 pounds, Zeke is the perfect "adventure-sized" companion, easy to carry, car-friendly, and an absolute dream for travel.

Ideal Home

Zeke is a smart boy with a strong herding drive, typical of his Heeler DNA. Because of this, he would do best in an active, adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers. He needs an environment where he can receive plenty of mental stimulation and physical exercise to keep him happy and well-adjusted. Homes with small children are not recommended.

Zeke has been neutered, is fully vetted, and is all set to find his forever family!

Training & Support

Zeke is actively working on mastering his basic commands. His herding instincts are present, so he'll need consistent guidance in an appropriate environment.
