Phoenix

I'm Phoenix, a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix who is looking for a loving foster or forever home. I recently lost my foster home through no fault of my own, and I really miss having people around to snuggle with and take me on adventures. I was rescued from a shelter a couple of years ago and was a favorite there, and now I'm waiting for my special person. I weigh about 80 lbs and, despite my age, I'm still active and very loving. I'm affectionate, walk well on a leash, and am a loyal and sweet companion who will be your best friend for life. I prefer to have my people around, which is understandable for any dog! I'm not a barker unless it's warranted, and I can be a bit protective of my people and our home, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, especially females, and I absolutely love human attention. I'm warm, caring, and would do well with a strong owner.

Ideal Home

I'd do best with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. A strong owner would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I am a healthy senior dog.

Training & Support

I walk well on a leash and am house-trained. I'm not a barker unless it's warranted.
