Blizzard

Blizzard is a beautiful 13-month-old female Sheltie with a heart full of love to give! She's a double merle, which means she's deaf and partially blind, but this has never stopped her from exploring the world with joy and a playful spirit. She's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores her foster siblings. Blizzard also thrives on lap time and cherishes every moment of attention from her foster parents. She's quite vocal and has a lot of opinions to share! While she's still learning some puppy manners and can be a little mouthy during play, she's making great progress. She's mostly housebroken, though the occasional accident can still happen.

Ideal Home

Blizzard would be happiest in a home with another playful dog who can keep up with her fun-loving and feisty personality. A securely fenced yard is a must for her safety, and she'll need a family member who is home most of the day to shower her with love and attention. Please note, Blizzard's ideal home would not include children under 12.

Training & Support

Blizzard is still learning puppy manners and can be mouthy during play. She is mostly housebroken but may still have occasional accidents. A free virtual training session with Deb Bauer of "Your Inner Dog" is included with her adoption fee to help her new owners get started on the right paw!
