Meet Vaquera's Miniature American Shepherds. Located in deep South Texas, we produce Miniature American Shepherds for pet owners. We are a small breeder allowing us to provide the care and attention needed for healthy, socialized puppies to become part of your family. In 2010, having had Australian Shepherds for years and being involved in ranching, we were looking for the personality of the "big" dog but one we could keep in the house as a family pet. Needless to say, we fell in love with the Minis. Tawny, a red tri female, began our journey and called us to begin breeding Miniature American Shepherds. Today, we continue to move forward in a breeding program that produces the "look" of the larger dog in a smaller package with use of conscientious genetics to eliminate potential health problems.
