Big Smile. Professional Playmate. Secret Softie.
Ollie is one of those dogs whose entire personality can be summed up by one look at his face: "Hi. Are we friends yet?" At about 3 years old and 60 pounds, this handsome black-and-white Pittie mix is equal parts playful, affectionate, and goofy. He has the kind of smile that makes it impossible not to smile back. Ollie absolutely LOVES other dogs. He currently lives with five canine housemates and happily spends his days playing, wrestling, and being part of the pack. He's social, engaging, and genuinely enjoys having dog friends around. And despite his sturdy build, Ollie is a pretty sensitive guy. New people and environments can make him a little cautious at first. He's the type who likes a minute to figure things out, then suddenly decides you're his buddy. Once he settles in, he's friendly, affectionate, and completely comfortable being loved on. Ollie enjoys daily walks and moderate activity, but he's not looking to run marathons. He's happiest when life has a little structure, plenty of playtime, and people who appreciate his goofy, easygoing nature. He's also surprisingly gentle around livestock and has shown he can coexist peacefully with calves and chickens, which speaks to his adaptable and thoughtful personality. Ollie is the fun kind of dog. The kind that makes you laugh every day. The kind who wants to be included, wants to play, and wants to be somebody's best friend. He's healthy, low maintenance, eager to learn, and ready for a home that will continue helping him become the incredible dog he's already well on his way to being.
Ideal Home
Ollie is not suitable for a home with cats. While he loves other dogs, he can be possessive around food and doesn't enjoy sharing his meals or special items with other dogs. We recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
Ongoing Health
Ollie is healthy and low maintenance.
