CHARLIE

Hi friends! My name is Charlie, and I'm a sweet, 2-year-old Labrador mix who weighs about 45 lbs. I was found as a puppy on the streets of Guadalajara, Mexico, but thankfully, I was rescued and have been doing very well ever since. I'm incredibly loving and gentle, with a trademark smile that will melt your heart! I absolutely adore being around people and am very affectionate and social. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs, often acting as a calm "peacekeeper" between them. While I can be a bit clumsy, it's all part of my charm! I respond well to treats and a confident, loving voice.

Ideal Home

I'm an active and playful pup with a medium to high energy level. Due to my playful nature and occasional clumsiness, a home without very young children might be best. I am unknown with cats. I may react to small prey animals like squirrels or rabbits, and my adopter should be prepared to train me through these behaviors if they arise.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and vaccinated. Please note that it's common for rescue dogs to need dental work after adoption, and these costs would be the adopter's responsibility.

Training & Support

I'm described as okay with leash skills, house training, crate training, and car rides, but I may need some additional patience and training in these areas. We highly encourage adopters to do some training research and practice before I arrive.
