Penny

Penny is a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, weighing approximately 50 lbs and is the sweetest girl! She is about 1 year and 3 months old and was found alone and fending for herself in a cemetery. Despite her rough start, she is incredibly trusting and loving. Penny is a very active girl who loves to romp and play, especially with other dogs and even pigs! She can be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up to become your loyal best friend. She enjoys tug-of-war with toys and loves car rides.

Ideal Home

An active home that wants a dog that loves adventures and will be a devoted shadow. Penny would thrive with another active dog to play with and help tire each other out.

Ongoing Health

Penny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and dewormer. She is heartworm positive and has received the initial treatment. She will need to remain on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested. She will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Penny is mostly house-trained and just needs consistency to master it 100%. She is an escape artist and has climbed a 4-foot fence, though she did return to the front door. She walks okay on a leash but will need more practice to become perfect. She has great recall once familiar with her surroundings.
