PALMER (APRIL 16, 2026)

Meet Palmer! He's a handsome, approximately 2-3 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who came to us as a stray. Palmer is a staff and dog favorite, and he's ready to find his forever family! Since he was found as a stray, we're still learning about his house and crate training, so patience and continued training will be key. His history with children is unknown, and we haven't tested him with them here, so we're looking for a home without little ones. Palmer will be available for adoption on April 16, 2026.

We're looking for a patient and loving home that understands that Palmer is still learning. A home without children would be ideal, given his unknown history with them.

Palmer is a healthy boy, and no specific health concerns were noted at this time.

Training & Support

Palmer is great with staff and other dogs, which is a wonderful start! We're still assessing his house and crate training, so continued positive reinforcement and a consistent routine will be crucial for his success.

Palmer is currently located at the Wasco Animal Shelter. Adopters are responsible for their own transportation.
