Meet Castiel! This spunky, one-year-old is believed to be a terrier and chihuahua mix with a beautiful, wiry coat that is likely moderate to low shedding. Castiel is a joyful soul with a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a situation where euthanasia is common, so by choosing him, you're not only saving his life but also making space for another animal in need. Castiel is outgoing, trusting, and loves to initiate play, especially with his favorite toys. He's a people-pleaser and eager to learn, making him a quick study for training. He's done well with children and has shown disinterest towards cats, and enjoys gentle play with other dogs. One of his most striking features is his beautiful blue eyes! Despite being hearing impaired, Castiel is a spirited boy who doesn't let it slow him down. He's not shy and absolutely adores other dogs, always wanting to be everyone's friend.

Castiel is a young, energetic puppy who will thrive in a home that can commit to his ongoing training, socialization, and all the dedication that puppyhood requires. He needs a family that will continue his potty and crate training, and provide daily exercise.

Castiel is hearing impaired. He has received all recommended vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.

Castiel is a people-pleaser and will learn quickly with consistent training. He will need continued potty and crate training.

Transporation
Castiel is currently fostered in Portland, OR. Transportation is available to NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast. Our PNW dogs travel via USDA licensed semi-truck transport, and East Coast travel is via a private, air-conditioned van. You will be able to follow along on your pet's journey through a private Facebook Event page. An Adoption Coordinator can help find the closest transport pickup location to you.
