Cooper is a handsome brindle boy, a Shepherd and Plott hound mix, who is approximately 2 years old. He weighs about 41 lbs and is eager to find his happily ever after! Cooper is a "sato," a dog from Puerto Rico, and is ready for all the adventures his new family can dream up, from sniffy walks and park romps to making new pup pals. He's a smart boy who would love to attend dog school to show off his intelligence. Most of all, Cooper desires a safe, loving place to call home for all his days, and in return, he promises endless love and loyalty.

Cooper would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of socialization, as dogs from Puerto Rico often have a significant adjustment period. He would do best with either a resident dog or a family committed to regular walks to help him explore and get accustomed to his new surroundings.
