Frijol

Frijol is a 7-year-old male who has been through more than any dog should have to endure. He was hit by a car and, tragically, his previous owners chose not to seek veterinary care, leaving his back legs to heal improperly. Despite the discomfort, Frijol learned to walk again! He was then surrendered to a shelter with the grim possibility of euthanasia. Thankfully, a foster mom stepped in, providing him with the love and safety he had never known. However, she can no longer keep him, and now Frijol is looking for his forever home. Despite his past hardships, Frijol's spirit remains unbroken, and he deeply loves people. He doesn't have a lot of time left, but he absolutely deserves a chance at a happy life filled with genuine love.

Frijol would do best as the only dog in a home.

Ongoing Health

Frijol walks with a limp due to improperly healed fractures in his back legs, which causes him some discomfort.
