Helene means “shining light,” and this adult Husky/Shepherd mix truly embodies that with her humor and intelligence, shining through her beautifully mismatched eyes. Helene loves to play with toys and her canine companions. While she's happy to give gentle licks and snuggles to cats who are calm, she might get a little too excited and chase those who run. She's a wonderful cuddler who smiles a lot and is simply a joy to be around! The more comfortable she gets in her home, the more her husky "talk" emerges, especially if she feels she's being shortchanged on treats. Helene would be a fantastic solo dog or a wonderful addition to an existing pack. Could she be the shining light your family is looking for?

Ideal Home

Helene would be great as a solo dog or as a companion dog to an existing "pack." She will lick and nuzzle with stationary cats, but will chase them if they run, so supervision with cats is recommended.

Helene is leash-trained and house-trained. Be prepared for some fun husky "talk" when she disagrees with treat decisions!
