Meet Tallis Toy Dogs. Tallis Toy Dogs has been around for over 30 years. Lorna Ellis is a third-generation breeder in Georgia and breeds Shih Tzu and Toy Poodles. Many will recognize my mother's name, Vida Ellis Hughes. Her father got into breeding and showing Cocker Spaniels in the 1940s. I have worked with my mom from a young age, so I have "been in the business" my whole life. We breed for conformation and temperament. I miss the shows, but am just unable to run around that ring anymore...lol. If you want a sweet baby, just let me know. We occasionally have retired dogs looking for their forever home. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
