Bigby

Meet Bigby! He's a 6.5-year-old, 12-pound Dachshund with a heart full of love to give. Bigby is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he's a total snuggle bug who enjoys lounging on the couch or being tucked under a blanket. He gets along wonderfully with the other Dachshunds in his foster home. Bigby is looking for a patient and compassionate person to show him the ropes of being a beloved house pet. He has such a sweet face and a gentle demeanor, and he just needs a loving home with plenty of time for him.

Ideal Home

Bigby thrives in a home that can offer him patience and love. He absolutely requires a securely fenced yard, as he is still learning recall and needs a safe space to explore.

Ongoing Health

Bigby's adoption fee of $339.63 covers all his vetting, including his heartworm test, rabies vaccination, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter surgery, dental cleaning, and microchipping.

Training & Support

As Bigby is still learning to be a house pet and is unfamiliar with recall, he would benefit greatly from ongoing positive reinforcement and consistent training.
