Meet Shiva! This sweet girl is a 40lb bundle of fun, born on September 28, 2022. Shiva is an American Bulldog/Pit Mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love to give. One of her most charming quirks is her love for curtain-surfing – she'll slowly walk under them for an impromptu back rub! If you don't have curtains, don't worry, she's happy to nudge you for attention and pets. Shiva is a smart and active pup who enjoys going on runs with her foster mom and could be a great companion for hiking and biking adventures. She knows commands like "sit," "shake," and "down," and her favorite way to spend her time is with her favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Shiva would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of attention and companionship. She enjoys the company of dogs and has a history of getting along with chickens and even a potbelly pig! She's also great with kids. However, she doesn't do well when left alone for too long, as she tends to "sing" or howl, making her less suitable for apartment living unless you have very understanding neighbors.

Shiva is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shiva is potty trained and crate trained, though she strongly dislikes crates and doesn't enjoy being confined in one. She needs continued socialization with both humans and dogs to build her confidence.
