Bel (Belinda)

Belinda, or "Bel" as we call her, is a beautiful, sweet soul who came to us in a semi-feral state after being trapped. While she's never shown any aggression, she's still a bit shy and not yet comfortable with a lot of human interaction. She finds her confidence and comfort when she's around other dogs, and she'll even allow us to pet her (she goes down for it!), bathe her, and happily take treats. We have limited time to spend with each dog, but we believe Bel has the potential to open up with someone who can dedicate the time and patience to work with her. She's a good alert dog for visitors, whether wanted or unwanted, and she's had a blast with the kiddie pool this summer!

Ideal Home

Bel thrives in a home with a canine companion, as she finds her comfort and confidence around other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bel is spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Bel is still learning to be comfortable with people. She would benefit from a patient adopter who can spend time helping her build trust and confidence. She does enjoy taking treats, which can be a great training tool.
