Ladybug

Ladybug is a 16-week-old heeler mix with a spirited personality! She's a true tomboy at heart, enjoying the simple joys of mud puddles and playful pounces with her foster siblings. Like many cattle dogs, Ladybug is incredibly loyal and will bond deeply with her person. She shows a medium herding drive, so she's looking for an adopter who understands and has experience with herding breeds. A gentle but assertive approach to training will help her thrive.

Ideal Home

Ladybug would do best in a home with a secure fence, children aged 12 and older, and a household that can provide her with an experienced, assertive, yet gentle hand in training. She needs a home with at least one other young, playful dog and no senior or toy-sized dogs, as she enjoys a good chase! She also needs to be kept away from poultry.

Ongoing Health

Ladybug has been spayed.

Training & Support

Ladybug is already crate trained, leash trained, and does great with grooming. She is still progressing with house training. Herding breeds thrive with consistent training and mental stimulation, and herding experience is highly recommended.
