Lazarus "Lazzie"

Meet Lazarus, affectionately known as Lazzie! This handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb. black Lab mix is a volunteer favorite, and it's easy to see why! Lazzie is a calm, gentle, and quiet soul with a stunningly shiny coat. He absolutely loves to lounge and cuddle on the bed, whether it's with his canine companions or his people. He's already living harmoniously with a tiny chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie, proving he gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Lazzie even enjoyed a social outing at a local bar, making new friends and charming everyone he met with his sweet and gentle nature. He arrived at the rescue in rough shape, battling mange and an upper respiratory infection after being found alone in a ditch. Thankfully, he's now healthy, strong, and more handsome than ever!

Ideal Home

Lazzie would love a home where he can share his days lounging and cuddling with his family and perhaps other doggy siblings.

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He is dog friendly and likely cat and kid friendly.
