Summit is a truly special dog who embodies so many wonderful qualities. He's a perfect blend of calm and playful, gentle yet adventurous, and independent enough to relax on his own but always eager to join you on your journey. Everyone who meets him quickly agrees – he's a "good dog." Summit has a knack for making people fall in love with his sweet nature and the way he looks at you with such adoration. He has spent his entire life at the rescue, patiently waiting for his forever family. Because of this, some aspects of home life might be new to him, like televisions or even staircases. However, Summit approaches life with an eagerness to learn and a heart full of trust. He compensates for his lack of experience with immense loyalty, love, and a deep desire to be your best friend. He enjoys the company of other dogs and people, making him an ideal adventure buddy, hiking partner, couch companion, or simply your most devoted best friend. Summit doesn't need a perfect home; he just needs someone to show him what home truly feels like.

Ongoing Health
Summit is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Summit may need a little extra time to adjust to new things like televisions or staircases. He has a willingness to learn and a heart full of trust, and his adopter can take advantage of a FREE four-week training program through Sublime K9 in Jefferson City to help him settle in.
