Tall, blonde, and handsome with gorgeous partially blue eyes, that's our Grover!

Grover is a 9-year-old Catahoula/Lab mix who has been patiently waiting at the shelter for over 5 years. He was terrified after leaving the only home he had ever known, but has since warmed up to his favorite staff members. Grover enjoys his walks, runs, hikes, and even working on his agility skills! He needs gradual introductions to new people, but once he feels comfortable, he reveals his silly and affectionate side. Grover used to live with a small dog and sometimes forgets his own size, thinking he's a lap dog. While he gets along with smaller/medium dogs, we believe Grover would thrive best in a home without dogs. Due to his strength and a fear of loud noises, Grover is looking for a quiet, low-traffic, adult-only home. Grover is still holding onto hope that his forever home is out there, and we want to help him get the chance he deserves!
