April Bandera

Meet April! She's an 8-month-old sweetheart weighing about 32 lbs, a perfect blend of playful puppy energy and gentle affection. While we think she might be a pit/lab mix, her most remarkable trait is her loving and tender personality. April is incredibly sweet-natured with a soft, submissive spirit. She lives with larger dogs and does wonderfully, happy to follow their lead and be part of the pack. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with a little time, she blossoms into a joyfully wiggly companion who loves with her whole body. Her favorite things include soft toys (especially squeaky ones!), cozy naps, and gentle snuggles once she feels comfortable. April is at a wonderful age to learn and grow with her forever family, who we hope will provide her with structure, patience, and positive training. We do require adopters to commit to crate training to help her with potty training and confidence.

April is currently fostered in Ridgefield Park, NJ. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with USDA-certified transport, with drop-off locations available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real-time.
