Posie is a beautiful and intelligent girl who has made wonderful progress in her training over several months with the help of a dedicated trainer. She's about 6 years old, weighs around 40lbs, and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for 2 years. Posie is looking for a very specific kind of home where her boundaries are respected, her training is consistently maintained, and her environment is predictable and safe. She is great with cats and currently lives with 5 other dogs, a cat, and children.

Ideal Home

Posie's ideal adopter will be someone experienced, patient, and committed to continuing her structured training. This includes using tools like a remote collar and positive reinforcement, especially in public or off-leash environments. A home with older children is required. Posie is not the dog for every home, but for the right person, she will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding companion.

Posie has made great strides with her training, and when it is followed, she does beautifully on leash and can calmly and confidently pass other people and animals. Her adopter will need to maintain her training and provide the structure she needs.
