About Chief

Hi, I’m Chief — your future best friend, snuggle buddy, and full-time goofball! I’ve been with my foster for a few years, and now I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m a sweet, high-energy guy who loves life and everyone in it — grownups, kids, big dogs, small dogs — I’m just excited to meet them all! I’m a pro at "sit," love treats (I take them super gently), and absolutely live for walks — though I’ll admit, I get a little overexcited and forget my leash manners. With a little patience (and maybe some snacks), I know I can get the hang of it! I’m a champion snuggler and will happily curl up with you in bed, tail wagging and heart full. I’ve got a silly side too — I love toys, especially if I can take the stuffing out (it’s a talent, really). I'm crate-training in progress and working through a bit of separation anxiety with the help of medication and a consistent routine. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving dog with a playful heart and a cuddly soul, I just might be your guy. Let’s meet — I’ve got tail wags and kisses waiting just for you!
