Xena

Xena is a sweet 2-year-old female Bull Terrier mix who has truly blossomed since her rescue. She was found in the country, having spent about two months with a harness that had embedded itself under her arm, causing a wound. Initially, she was very shut down and hesitant, understandably so. A kind samaritan began feeding her daily, and with consistent care, Xena transformed into a happy, affectionate pup who loves to give kisses! She feels safe and secure in her dog house, which is her special sanctuary. We are currently testing her with other dogs to see how she does.

Ideal Home

Xena would do best as the only dog in the home. If you have other dogs, she would need to attend training.

Ongoing Health

Xena had a wound from the embedded harness, which has been addressed. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Xena is still learning to trust and interact with other animals. We will be testing her with other dogs and can provide guidance on how to help her succeed in her new home.
