My name is Chocolate, and I'm a resilient and loving pup ready for my happy ending! My name perfectly suits my sweet nature. Kind folks at the vet clinic named me after I was rescued, noting my gentle spirit and loving demeanor even when I was scared and unwell. This name symbolizes my fresh start.
My life didn't begin easily. I was once tied to a bicycle with a shoestring, struggling to breathe, with my paws barely touching the ground. A compassionate woman saw my distress, freed me, and took me away, saving my life and bringing me to my foster mom. Initially confused and a bit sad, I soon discovered the joy of true love and kindness. Now, I live with two wonderful foster moms who treat me like family, and I even have a human sister who gives the best kisses! For the first time, I've experienced a soft bed, discovered the fun of toys, and even get delicious homemade chicken sometimes. I also get to play with my foster siblings, all waiting for their forever homes.
I love to run and play, especially with my foster sister Moom. I'm very affectionate and adore cuddles, kisses, and being close to my people. I am fully potty trained and truly enjoy my crate, which serves as my cozy, safe space.
Car rides are still a bit new to me, and things with wheels can sometimes make me nervous. However, with a patient and loving person, I know I will continue to grow and gain confidence. Today, I feel safe and happy, and my foster moms believe there's a special person out there meant just for me, someone seeking a loyal heart like mine. I'm hoping my turn to find my forever home is coming soon.
