Tilly Willy is a delightful approximately 3-year-old American Bully mix, weighing around 55 lbs. Don't let her compact, "beefy" build fool you; she's a "small big dog" with a heart full of love. Tilly is incredibly sweet, forming deep bonds with her people and becoming their devoted shadow and biggest fan. She's a gentle and patient companion, thriving around children of all ages and even greeting new people with a happy, albeit sometimes jumpy, enthusiasm that quickly subsides with gentle correction. She's also a friend to all dogs, big or small, playful or calm, and has demonstrated respectful interactions with cats. Tilly enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, with bursts of excitement for meals or greetings, accompanied by adorable tiptoe dances and happy snorts.
Ideal Home
Tilly would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people. She's already proven to be a wonderful houseguest, free-roaming and sleeping peacefully in her foster mom's room. She's also handled being crated when her foster mom leaves the house, though it's not a necessity for her.
Ongoing Health
Tilly Willy is healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Tilly is fully potty trained, has excellent house manners, and is not destructive. She walks well on a leash, with only a slight pull when excited by squirrels, which is easily corrected. While she's not overly toy-driven, she's a big fan of snacks and has excellent manners around food, though she appreciates "quality control" services to ensure no crumbs are left behind! She responds well to consistent boundaries and quick corrections.
