Glover is a tiny retired gentleman with a passion for tennis balls! This approximately 8-year-old, 16 lb Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier mix is the definition of easy company. Glover settles in quickly, makes himself at home, and is happy to be part of whatever you're doing. He's low maintenance and enjoys collecting toys, and even more, he enjoys a good game of fetch. Despite his age, he has a playful spark that comes alive with toys. Glover is confident, curious, and handles new environments, people, and dogs with an easygoing attitude. He politely greets everyone, shares affection and toys, and patiently waits his turn. Glover is gentle and tolerant of handling, but he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and dislikes being picked up. He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and calm, dog-savvy cats. Glover would be happy in an apartment or any home that offers him a person nearby, a few toys, and a peaceful place to call his own.
Ideal Home
Glover would thrive in a home where he has a person nearby, a few toys, and a peaceful place to call his own. He is adaptable to apartment living. He would do well with calm, dog-savvy cats who appreciate a respectful housemate, but he is not looking for a wrestling partner or a zoomie buddy.
Ongoing Health
Glover appears to have some age-related changes to his hearing and eyesight, but he seems completely unbothered by them.
Training & Support
Glover is described as incredibly low maintenance and a quick study. His foster has noted his confidence in new spaces and his ability to navigate furniture without concern.
