Weather

Weather and all her puppies came to us when the babies were less than a week old. Weather was, and still is, scared to death. She came from a property in SC where, over the course of 15 months, we rescued over 200 dogs from two adjacent properties. Weather was the second to last to be rescued, but not for lack of trying. She had no name and was called "Juvi girl" for juvenile. She had no attention. She is the daughter of Momma Bear and sister to Sylvie, niece to Sadie, Rocket, and Venture. She needs love and patience and someone to show her how to trust. She is finally letting her foster mom pet her, though she still flinches. She was recently spayed and, believe it or not, is heartworm and tick-borne disease negative! She is a magnificently sweet girl waiting for love and patience.

Ideal Home

Weather needs a secure and patient home. You must have a fenced yard and be willing to spend months gaining her trust.

Ongoing Health

Weather was recently spayed and is heartworm and tick-borne disease negative. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.

Training & Support

Weather is very scared and will need patience and time to learn to trust.
