Hi, I’m Gabe. I can be a little shy at first, but if you give me a cozy crate or a safe spot to settle in, I warm up quickly and let my silly side shine. I’m very smart, curious, and always interested in what’s going on around me—especially if I can watch it from a window. Strange noises make me tilt my head, toys magically throw themselves when I play, and in the yard I bounce around like a gazelle just for fun. Playtime is one of my favorite things. I love squeaky toys, balls, and chew bones, and I’m always up for running, jumping, or wrestling around on the floor. I know when I’m being funny, too, and I enjoy making people laugh. I might let out an occasional "woof," but I’m not much of a barker. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and very calm when left alone. In fact, I often choose my crate as my nap spot. I walk nicely on a leash and would make a great walking buddy. While I have lots of playful energy, I also have a couch-potato side and absolutely love to snuggle. Once you start petting me, I’ll happily ask you to keep going. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, I think we could be the perfect match.

Ongoing Health
Car rides can make my tummy upset, but medication helps with that. My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you!
Training & Support
I am housetrained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash. I am also calm when left alone and do not have separation anxiety or try to escape.

Transporation
I am located at Pawmetto Lifeline, 1076 George Mathews Road, Pawley’s Island, SC 29585. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. We are closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
