Meet Mila! Mila is a spayed, 3-year-old female Pitbull/Staffie mix who currently weighs around 40lbs. She's a smart, curious, and very people-oriented girl who loves to explore and is eager to please. Mila adores her foster family, following them around and showering them with affection and cuddles. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playtime, especially with larger pups who can match her energy. She's also a big fan of food and treats! Mila has been introduced to her foster's grandchildren, ranging from toddlers to preteens, and has done well.
Ideal Home
Mila would thrive in a home with a moderately to very active family who wants an outdoors companion or running partner. She would do best with older children (over 10 years old) or those who are dog-savvy. She would also appreciate a home with at least one other dog to play with. Mila may do best in a home where someone is home more often than not, as she hasn't been crate trained due to always having someone around.
Ongoing Health
Mila is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.
Training & Support
Mila is a quick learner and eager to please, but she is still young and needs some training. Her foster notes that she tends to jump on other dogs, so continued positive reinforcement will be beneficial. She also has a tendency to try and eat her housemates' food, so it's recommended to feed her separately to ensure household harmony. She has not been crate trained and is trustworthy to be left alone unsupervised, provided no food is left out and trash cans are secured.
