Meet Cher and Sienna, a bonded pair of sisters who are a charming mix of Chessie and Lab. These sweet girls are looking for a very special home to call their own. Cher and Sienna were rescued at 5 months old, having experienced severe abuse and neglect. Though they were once starving and scared, they have blossomed into loving dogs under foster care. They are shy initially but their delightful personalities shine through once they feel safe. They are a bit nervous around new people but show no aggression, only a deep longing for trust and love. These girls weigh around 75 lbs each as adults.

Ideal Home

Cher and Sienna need a patient, relaxed household that understands their past trauma. They require a home with a minimum 4-foot physical fence; electric fences are not accepted. They must be adopted together and require a family with direct experience in caring for severely abused dogs.

Ongoing Health

Cher and Sienna have no specific ongoing health conditions mentioned in their listing. They have been microchipped, tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, and Lyme disease, and are on year-round heartworm medication. They are up-to-date on Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, and Leptospirosis vaccines, and have been wormed. They have also been spayed.
